I'm New

Welcome to St. Luke

Whether you’ve grown up in a church or have never stepped into a church, whether you identify as a Christian or another faith or an agnostic, whether you identify as straight or gay or other, we welcome you because God welcomes you. We celebrate the diversity of gifts and hope that your visit here will be a positive one.

We are a neighborhood church, so we are both informal in some ways but traditional in others. Most Sundays we are blessed with a lovely choir, and every Sunday service ends with a fellowship time with donuts and a view of the bay.

Please let Reverend Whitt know you’re visiting. If you show up, we will welcome you as a gift to us, because that’s how we experience one another in relationship to God.

What to Expect

Sunday Worship starts at 10am. Dress in whatever you like. God doesn’t seem to mind.

The greeters will hand you a printed bulletin with the order of worship. There are also two tasteful screens on two sides at the front to view hymns and prayers.

The church is equipped with a hearing-assist system. If you need a receiver, ask one of the greeters.

Children are always welcome.

Worship ends around 11:00 and we gather for coffee and conversation immediately following in the Bayview Room, or outside on our patio, weather permitting.  We certainly hope you’ll stay.

We celebrate Communion the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome to the table.
